78 additional residential units in 9 houses will be built
along the western edge of the 100 year old Gartenstadt cooperative in
Karlsruhe-Rüppurr. The three-story terraces will be aligned along
the "green wall" shielding off the main road. The apartments
will mainly face south and include generous terraces or balconies. Elevators
will make the most apartments accessible to disabled individuals. In
spite of reasonably dense compacting, a green and leafy quarter will
develop in interplay with the western gardens of Heckenweg.
